As the framers of our country would say, we must act based on reason, rationality and logic. As creatures in made God’s image, we should act as God acts and thus do not live our lives by emotions, fear, popularity, self-preservation or pragmatism. We are faced with a myriad of situations, and especially as Christians, we are called by God to make prudent biblical decisions, to do what is right before the eyes of God regardless of the consequences. In humility, gentleness and self-control – filled with the Holy Spirit, we prayerfully exist before an audience of One. And when that’s done as God’s ambassador, it’s not just acting in love, actually the definition of love.
